Exhibition “Ust-Sysolsk – Syktyvkar: the city and its residents”

About exhibition

The open-storage exhibition hall is a relatively new and rare form of presenting heritage; it demonstrates the historical, cultural and artistic value of individual museum collections. The exhibition hall displays more than one hundred items collected by the museum over the course of a hundred years and united by the theme of the history of the city of Syktyvkar. Visitors will see photographs of Ust-Sysolsk–Syktyvkar, pieces of furniture and interior items, and memorial objects that tell about the everyday life of a provincial city throughout the 20th century.
