Exhibition 'The Estate on Voznesenskaya'

The exhibition tells the story of the house and estate built in 1848. Visitors will be able to see rare documents such as the site plan of the land plot on which the estate stands, the very first photograph of the Rash House (1860s–1870s), and a photograph of the house from the time when it contained communal apartments. In the summer kitchen located on the estate grounds, visitors can learn how food was prepared at that time, how the cook worked, and which dishes the young Mikhail Saltykov preferred. The exhibition is timed to coincide with the 200th anniversary of the writer's birth, which will be observed in January 2026. Kirov will be among the series of cities where this event will be marked at the national level.
