Exhibition "Yuri + Lyubov"

About exhibition

An exhibition of Ulyanovsk artists Yuri and Lyubov Kachichev, graduates of the art and graphic faculty of the Kostroma Pedagogical Faculty, will be held at the Museum of Fine Arts of the 20th–21st Centuries. Throughout their creative careers the artists have stepped beyond the confines of traditional academic visual art. Working in genres familiar to viewers, they boldly experiment with drawing and color, developing a style recognizable in Ulyanovsk and beyond. The exhibition features more than 50 paintings and graphic works reflecting different periods of the artists' work. Despite each artist's individuality, their canvases harmoniously complement one another, creating a cohesive whole — which is why the couple prefers to exhibit together.
