About exhibition

The "Yugorskoe Heritage" exhibition introduces the ancient history of the region from the Neolithic era to modern times. Among the exhibits are ancient tools and pottery. Later history is represented by bronze items and weapons from the early period, as well as medieval household objects. The ethnographic section of the exhibition presents the traditional culture of the indigenous peoples — the Salym and Yugan Khanty. Here you can see fishing and hunting implements, traditional clothing, a dugout canoe, a replica of the ancient shrine Ai-ega-iki on Maly Salym, and much more.
