In 2025 the famous mud-bath facility celebrates its 205th anniversary. Visitors to the exhibition will become acquainted with materials on the history of the founding and development of the Tinaki resort and with research into the healing properties of mud and brine. Mud therapy in the Astrakhan region has a centuries-old history. In the era of the Bakhchisarai khans, methods for the therapeutic use of lake silt muds spread from Crimea to Astrakhan. Visitors to the exhibition, which is located in the 'Nature of Deserts and Semi-Deserts' hall, will be able to view documents, numerous reference materials, photographs from the 19th–20th centuries, and samples of healing mixtures of organic and mineral substances.
