Exhibition 'Tatar Code'
About exhibition
The exhibition is a unique study of the multifaceted culture and history of the Tatar people living across Siberia. This display immerses visitors in a world of traditions, customs and arts, reflecting a singular heritage passed down from generation to generation. The exhibition will consist of several sections about the Tomsk Tatars. In particular, there will be an archaeological section with excavation materials. The section devoted to the everyday life of Tomsk Tatars will present the male and female worlds, household and ritual items, costume parts, traditional musical instruments, as well as photographs depicting Sabantuy and other national holidays. Another section is dedicated to contemporary Tatars: how they live, interact, and what contribution they make to the development of Tomsk and the region. This is not just an exhibition but a true cultural palette that connects the past with the present, inspiring the preservation of unique heritage and an appreciation of cultural diversity in the modern world.
