Exhibition 'Tarusa in the Life and Work of Marina Tsvetaeva'

The museum was opened on October 4, 1992 — the year of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the poet M. I. Tsvetaeva. The exhibition tells the story of the Tsvetaev family and their life in Tarusa. The Tarusa period in the life of the Tsvetaev family, including M. I. Tsvetaeva, is given special emphasis. The family's kinship and friendly ties in Tarusa are extensively covered. In the Tsvetaeva memorial wing, visitors will see I. V. Tsvetaev's study, the parlor and M. I. Tsvetaeva's room. A large number of memorial items are on display: M. I. Tsvetaeva's blouse, her authentic autographs, furniture and tableware.
