Exhibition "Taiga, Lake, Steppe..."

About exhibition

Occupying 200 sq. m, the exhibition contains more than 400 exhibits. Upon entering the hall, visitors are immersed in an interactive presentation of Buryatia's nature, accompanied by the sounds of the taiga and Lake Baikal. The scent of coniferous trees creates an atmosphere of unity with nature. One of the highlights — a model of Lake Baikal — is presented in a completely new way: computer technology allows visitors to observe seasonal changes and wind directions on Baikal, as well as the boundaries of protected areas around the lake. The final part of the exhibition is devoted to eco-habits and eco-volunteering.
