Exhibition "Light in the Window"

A joint project of the Rostov Regional Museum of Local History and the Russian Cultural Foundation, dedicated to the 275th anniversary of Rostov-on-Don. Visitors will be introduced to photographs and postcards of Rostov mansions from the late 19th - early 20th centuries from the museum's collection and from L. K. Solomatina. The hall provides an overview of the history of domestic lighting in Rostov and Nakhichevan-on-Don. Visitors will see lighting fixtures from the late 19th - early 20th centuries: candlesticks, candelabra, kerosene lamps of various types, ceiling lamps, and electric lamps.
