Exhibition "Links Through Time. Sister Cities: Shelekhov – Neagari – Nomi"

About exhibition

Visitors to the exhibition will learn about the history of the sister-city ties between Shelekhov, Neagari and Nomi. Over 45 years of friendship and cooperation the museum has formed a collection of gifts from guests from the Land of the Rising Sun that reveal the everyday life and culture of the Japanese people. Among the exhibits are personal items of the founder of the sister-city relationship, Neagari's mayor Shigeki Mori, a Japanese women's wedding kimono, and a sporting bow for shooting. Also presented are unique original Kutani ceramics: elegant vases, colorful dishes and panels, and paintings by artists from the sister city, donated to the museum as part of cultural exchange.
