Exhibition "The Battle of Sudbishche"

The exhibition focuses on the 1555 Battle of Sudbishche, one of the key events in Russian military history during the reign of Tsar Ivan the Terrible. Visitors' introduction to the presented material is accompanied by displays of maps, reconstructions of Russian and Crimean Tatar warriors, and a portrait gallery. Reconstructions of the period's weaponry will attract genuine interest: chain mail, helmet, saber, musket, archery set (saadak). All of these items can be tried on, handled, and photographed. The collection will be of interest both to professional historians and to a wide range of visitors, especially schoolchildren and students.
