Exhibition "Pages from Ulan-Ude's Past"
About exhibition
The exhibition reflects the culture of the Russian intelligentsia of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Housed in an early 20th-century wooden house is a unique collection of items that belonged to the well-known Verkhneudinsk family of Mikhail Vladimirovich and Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Tansky. The exhibition hall is divided into several independent sections that are harmoniously combined to create a unified picture of the lifestyle of an early 20th-century intellectual. The display includes the dining room and the parlor with furnishings typical of a wealthy home of the period. Mikhail Tansky's professional activity is also presented — his physician's study has been reconstructed.
