The exhibition presents the stages of evacuating the wounded from the battlefield and tells of the remarkable feats of medical workers during the Great Patriotic War. The multimedia project is dedicated to medicine, sanitation and the health administration system during the Great Patriotic War. Much depended on medical personnel! In times of crisis every life was precious; everyone saved by the medics was useful — in the trenches, at the machines, in classrooms. A surgeon's scalpel was as important as a bayonet on the front, and the number of beds in hospitals mattered no less than the number of aircraft in the hangars.
