Exhibition 'Created by Anzheromash'
About exhibition
Anzheromash Machine-Building Plant is one of the oldest enterprises in the city of Anzhero-Sudzhensk. Its history is closely tied to key events in the country's life. In the early 20th century the plant actively participated in the industrial development of coal deposits in northern Kuzbass. During the Great Patriotic War (World War II) the enterprise supplied the needs of the front. After the war the plant became a major coal machinery manufacturer. The exhibition dedicated to the plant's history shows its evolution from the mechanical workshops of the early 20th century to a powerful enterprise that became the foundation of Kuzbass machine-building for the coal industry. The exhibition features documents and product samples produced during the war, as well as photographs, artifacts and documents reflecting the enterprise's growth in the post-war period up to the present. Among the exhibits are a model of the Kremlin made for Stalin in 1952, the Red Banner awarded to the winner of a socialist competition, certificates and ID cards of innovators, the plant's souvenir products, and awards of outstanding workers.
