The military exhibition, initiated by the museum's founder V.N. Plotnikov, is the pride of the museum. It preserves the military history of four historical eras of the Russian armed forces. The histories of the Civil War, the Great Patriotic War, local conflicts, and the "Special Military Operation" are represented by artifacts from these events. Among the exhibits are many rare and unique items. Visitors will become acquainted with a collection of weapons from World War I and the Great Patriotic War. A notable highlight of the exhibition is the diorama "Battle near Yelnya." Berezovsky artist Sergey Kondrashev depicted the battle that was the first in V.N. Plotnikov's long military career. Documents, photographs, orders and medals, and soldiers' personal belongings enriched the museum's collection for more than thirty years. The museum's military hall is a memorial place where townspeople and visitors bring fresh flowers.
