The exhibition is dedicated to September 1 — Knowledge Day. In Russia, Knowledge Day is an integral part of the educational process, the ceremonial beginning of a new chapter in the lives of first-graders and a reminder to future graduates of upcoming exams and adult life. The exhibition presents more than 30 items from the museum's 20th-century collection that illustrate the everyday life of Crimean schoolchildren during the Soviet era. Visitors will see a student's home study desk, stationery, documents, photographs, a girl's school uniform, Pioneer scarves, a Pioneer side cap, Little Octobrist and Pioneer badges, textbooks and teaching aids, festive attributes, and other school-related objects.
