Exhibition 'Legends of the Yenisei Land'
About exhibition
The exhibition tells the story of various archaeological cultures that existed in Siberia, about the indigenous peoples of the Yenisei region, their dwellings, clothing and household items, and the diversity of animal and plant life from the mountains of the Eastern and Western Sayan to the Taymyr Peninsula, as well as when and how Russians arrived in these territories and built the first ostrogs. Museum visitors can learn about the history of the Yenisei Governorate from its establishment in 1822 until the overthrow of the Romanovs and, of course, about one of the most controversial periods in the country's history — the Soviet era. In addition, the admission ticket grants access to all exhibitions operating at the time of the visit, as well as to the virtual exhibition 'Northern Lights' (advance booking required by phone: +7 (9029) 42-74-32). The full list of current exhibitions is available via the link. Contact phones: +7 (3912) 27-92-04, +7 (3912) 27-05-80.
