In the building of the former treasury storehouse, built in the 18th century to a design by Siberian architect Semen Ulyanovich Remezov, a new exhibition project, 'Siberian Treasury,' has opened. In three themed halls you can see the main riches of our region from the era of Peter the Great and unique archaeological finds relating to the Late Bronze Age, the Early Iron Age and the modern period; materials on the culture and everyday life of the Ob Ugric peoples collected during early 20th-century expeditions; paleontological items that introduce visitors to prehistoric giants of the animal world; unusual taxidermy sculptures; and much more. In addition to the three themed halls, an open museum storage depository will be available to visitors on site and can be visited as part of a guided tour group.
