Exhibition 'The Heart Remembers'
About exhibition
Visitors will see works of naive and self-taught art, pieces by folk masters from the late 20th to the 21st century, some of which will be shown to the public for the first time. The delicate lyricism of Viktor Andreevich Sergienko, the fairytale daring of Pavel Andreevich Zharikhin, and the epic quality of Valentin Mikhailovich Efremov will reveal different shades in the depiction of the native land's beauty. A graphic series by Gennady Mikhailovich Vlasov, displayed in a separate hall, will present a romantic old Sverdlovsk. The expressive images of three-dimensional compositions by Antonina Nikolaevna Mikryukova and Natalya Vladimirovna Portnova will offer a glimpse into the recent past. Images of traditional culture, skillfully interpreted by Vera Anatolyevna Krasko, Lidiya Fedorovna Karandayeva, and Galina Ivanovna Medvedeva, will be presented in ceramic sculpture, dolls, and textile panels. The reference to high art will be demonstrated by the embroidered paintings of Anastasia Petrovna Soldatova.
