'The exceptional happiness of a person is to be engaged in his constant beloved work,' believed V. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko. Theatre became Vladimir Ivanovich's main beloved pursuit. The exhibition tells the story of a man of tremendous resilience and cheerfulness, combined with talent and great industriousness, which allowed the author of this remark to realize himself in many fields: playwright, critic, teacher, director, theatre director, and founder of the Moscow Art Theatre School-Studio. Visitors to the exhibition will see photographs from the family album, memorial items related to his parents, brothers, and sister, posters of plays staged from V. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko's works, artists' sketches for productions at the Moscow Art and Musical Theater, set models for productions directed by Vladimir Ivanovich, and costumes.
