The exhibition is composed of photographic works that participated in a competition organized as part of the preparations for the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. The exhibition was created to attract the attention of the younger generation to the historical, natural, and cultural heritage of their native region, and to portray the life of the republic through photography. The entire project includes several sections, which generally mirror the categories of the photo competition but take into account the specifics of museum work during traveling exhibitions. The sections are called 'Nature of the Native Land', 'Landscape — Mood', 'Culture and Traditions of Kabardino-Balkaria', 'Nostalgia', and 'My Fellow Countrymen'.
