Exhibition "Rybinsk in the 20th Century"

The first stage of the exhibition covers the period from 1914 to 1941, one of the most dramatic and important in the development of the city of Rybinsk and the country as a whole. A great deal of collecting work was undertaken in creating the exhibition. Citizens and local enterprises helped with this. The recollections of Rybinsk residents were converted into audio format. The project aims to show Rybinsk's history through the fates of its inhabitants. Particular attention is paid to personal belongings, documents, and photographs. Through the prism of changing official documents—such as a party membership card, a shock-worker's certificate, and an inmate's record—the fate of an individual is revealed.
