About exhibition

The exhibition 'Russian Classical Art of the 18th to the Early 20th Century from the Collections of the National Gallery of the Republic of Komi' comprises 45 works. Among them are the paintings 'The Gold Embroiderer' by V. A. Tropinin, 'Moonlit Night' by A. I. Kuindzhi, 'Sunset at Sea' by I. K. Aivazovsky, and many others. Interestingly, the post-revolutionary fate of some works in the Russian art collection was connected with the State Tretyakov Gallery, from which they were transferred in the 1920s to the Komi Autonomous Oblast. Everyone is welcome!
