The hall "Russian Art of the Late 19th – Early 20th Century" immerses the visitor in the Silver Age. The most significant artistic associations of this period — the Union of Russian Artists, World of Art, Blue Rose, the A. I. Kuindzhi Society, and the Jack of Diamonds — are represented by the finest works of their founders and members. Paintings by M. A. Vrubel, V. D. Polenov, M. V. Nesterov, I. I. Levitan, A. E. Arkhipov, V. A. Serov, K. A. Korovin, A. I. Kuindzhi, N. K. Roerich, A. A. Rylov, K. F. Bogaevsky, M. S. Saryan, K. S. Petrov-Vodkin, and sculptures by P. P. Trubetskoy, A. S. Golubkina, N. L. Aronson provide a comprehensive overview of the main trends in the development of Russian art at the turn of the 19th–20th centuries. The exhibition features the Artefact mobile app — a multimedia guide that allows visitors to explore the artworks in an interactive format. No guided tours are provided.
