The museum's exhibition is dedicated to the everyday life and traditions of the Russian people at the turn of the 19th–20th centuries. It was during this period that the settlement of the Yaiva area took place. In the exhibition visitors can see the interior of a peasant izba and become acquainted with household and handicraft items. In addition, visitors will learn how spinning and weaving were done in Rus'. On display are many unique exhibits: from a variety of clothing and footwear to an old weaving loom, from a pot hook and a cast-iron pot to an iron. A visit to the exhibition offers a detailed picture of how the inhabitants of the Yaiva river region lived and what their occupations were.
