Exhibition "Russia. Family. Traditions"
About exhibition
The exhibition is dedicated to the opening of the Year of the Family in Russia. It features various types of decorative and applied arts and visual art created by local residents, as well as notable items from the museum's collection of early 19th-century decorative and applied arts. On display are rag amulet dolls — guardians of the family hearth — wood carvings, knitted items and other contemporary handcrafted works. The exhibition is well suited for family visits. Joint creative activities by children and parents evoke many positive emotions and create a particularly warm atmosphere within the family. The exhibition is held to strengthen family relationships, to foster in adults and children an appreciation of the family as one of the important social institutions for the harmonious development of a child's personality, and to develop each family's creative potential and creative approach during the event.
