"Native Places" is a solo exhibition by Volzhsky artist Elena Prutskova. Elena Anatolyevna graduated from the Volzhsky City Art School, the Krasnoyarsk Art College named after V.I. Surikov, and the Volgograd State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. She is a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. The exhibition features fifteen paintings created over the past several years using watercolor, oil, and tempera techniques. These are landscapes of the native Volga region. Visitors will see the banks of the Volga and the Akhtuba, the scorching steppe, and urban and industrial landscapes. The artist's works are distinguished by precise composition and color and by the originality of their concept. Viewers are involuntarily taken on an exciting journey with the artist, who sees, feels, and conveys the beauty of her homeland.
