Exhibition "Requiem. Dedicated to the Memory of Concentration Camp Prisoners..."
About exhibition
At the end of October, people around the world remember those whose lives were cut short behind the barbed wire of concentration camps, whose destinies were maimed by inhuman camp conditions. In total, more than 14,000 concentration camps, ghettos and prisons operated in Germany and the occupied countries. During World War II, over 20 million people passed through the death camps. Among them were people from our region. The exhibition "Requiem. Dedicated to the Memory of Concentration Camp Prisoners..." is devoted to them. The exhibition features documents, photographs, autobiographies and memorial items of concentration camp prisoners from the museum's collections, as well as documents from the archives of the FSB Directorate for the Omsk Region and the Historical Archive of the Omsk Region.
