Exhibition "Rainbow of Folk Traditions"

About exhibition

The exhibition brings together household items from peasant life of the 19th–20th centuries. Visitors can see antiques that were still part of a peasant's everyday life at the beginning of the 20th century. Over time, people's lives changed so much that the spinning wheel, mortar, hand mill and washboard simply no longer had a place in the home. They were replaced by modern appliances. Customs and the objects associated with them gradually fade into the past, but the museum remains practically the only place to learn about the everyday life and traditions of our ancestors.
