At the exhibition are presented the academic works of Polina Yefremova, executed in tempera. These are decorative still lifes with bright draperies and household objects contrasting against them. Abstract compositions built on color and light-and-shadow contrasts. Portraits with soft gradations of tone. Using complex colors, the artist conveys the character of the depicted objects, their volume, form, degree of illumination, and the materiality of the items and objects. Distinctive and original, painted in a particular color palette and in the style characteristic of the A. L. Stieglitz Academy, they were created by Polina during her 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years. Polina Viktorovna Yefremova was born in 2003 in Almetyevsk. In 2019 she graduated with honors from Children's Art School No. 1 in Almetyevsk. She is currently a 5th-year student at the St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry named after A. L. Stieglitz, Department of Animation and Computer Design. The exhibition is a good example for students and graduates of children's art schools who aspire to continue their studies at the A. L. Stieglitz Academy.
