Exhibition 'Journey with Archaeologists to Ancient Serensk'

At the center of the exhibition is a model reconstruction of the ancient town of Serensk — the cultural and industrial center of the Vyatichi lands. Archaeological excavations at Serensk have helped reveal the lifestyle and everyday life of the Vyatichi. The exhibition displays a Vyatichi warrior's weapons, agricultural implements, tools for jewellery production, tools for working wood, leather and bone, fishing gear, and women's ornaments (seven-lobed temple rings, latticework rings, beads). Visitors can assemble a clay pot from sherds, try to make fire, and take part in the quiz 'Name the Object'.
