The exhibition is housed in the building that once contained a branch of one of the largest metropolitan banks of the Russian Empire. In the museum's semi-basement room, museum staff have, with the greatest scrupulousness, recreated the interior of a bank employee's office. The atmosphere of the monetary turnover of Tsaritsyn's merchant community is immediately apparent. The exhibition features antique coins and banknotes, bills of exchange, mortgage deeds, bank employees' uniforms, desk accessories, safes, valises, cash registers and much more.
