A journey into the world of stone is a very fascinating pursuit. Studying stones inevitably takes you back into the distant past of the planet and of the area where you live. If you want to learn what secrets minerals hide, how many there are, and how they differ from one another, you will try to find answers to these and other questions during the journey. The exhibition halls display beautiful—and sometimes unique—druses and individual crystals of semi-precious and ornamental stones from the Urals, Kazakhstan, Transbaikalia, Mongolia, Primorye, the Irkutsk Region and other parts of the country.
