The exhibition-journey is ideally suited to immerse the viewer in the historical and cultural context through installations and interactive elements that are unconventional for a traditional museum, presented through the prism of works from the collection of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The image of the traveler, so popular in the region's visual art, occupies an exceptionally important place in the exhibition's concept. Together with an authentic protagonist, visitors will undertake a journey along a ribbon of time that comes to life through videos. The content reveals the chronotope of Yakutia through the motif of the journey, tied to the notion of movement as the essence of life, consonant with the worldview of northern nomads. The exhibition space is complemented by an interactive table with touch panels and everyday Yakut objects displayed openly and available to handle, and by installations "Yakut Calendar", "Traditional Yakut Board Games", and "Sacred Tree".
