Today the words 'Rezinochka' (elastic-jumping game), 'Klassiki' (hopscotch), 'Vyshibala' (dodgeball), 'More volnuetsya raz…' ('The Sea Is Worried...'), 'Elektronika IM-02' – 'Nu, pogodi!' and 'Dendy Classic' mean little to modern children, while their parents nostalgically remember how they used to play these games with the whole neighborhood. The exhibition 'About the Kids and the Scooter' tells the story of the lives of children and teenagers in the 1980s–1990s, when everyday life still lacked modern means of communication and computers. On display are toys, school supplies and puzzles that children played with at the end of the last century. Installations like 'Kindergarten', 'On a Hike', 'By the River', and a playground with a sandbox transport adults back to a carefree past, to their childhood. The exhibition is complemented by photographs by Leonid Bereznitsky, depicting the world of childhood at the end of the last century.
