Exhibition 'Nature of North Ossetia'

The exhibition of the Nature Department of the National Museum of the RSO–Alania reflects the full range of Ossetia's natural conditions. Its creation involved Professor L. P. Semenov (soil scientist), Professor L. B. Beme (zoologist), and Professor D. A. Tarnogradsky (biologist). The display includes dioramas showing the different natural and climatic zones and wildlife of Ossetia, as well as entomological, paleontological, and geological collections. The museum's Nature Department is one of the centers for environmental education of the younger generation. Regular school lessons and various events that foster a respectful and careful attitude toward nature are held there.
