The museum exhibition is composed of peasant household items from the 19th–20th centuries. Many of them were once used daily on the farm but have now completely fallen out of use, and it is often difficult even to understand how they were used — looms, a rubel (wooden washboard), spinning wheels, a pot hook (ukhvat), millstones and others. The display includes agricultural tools (sickles, a scythe, a forked pole), items used by men for construction and woodworking (saw, hand plane, brace/drill), and numerous kitchen utensils (cast-iron pots, tuesa (birch-bark containers), barrels, mortars, hand grain mills). Almost all the items on display are wooden, naturally combining beauty and practicality. Each exhibit has become part of history that we carefully preserve for future generations.
