An exhibition project 'Victorious 45' will open at the State Museum of the Defense of Moscow. The core of the exhibition consists of paintings by frontline artists who later became members of the M. B. Grekov Studio of Military Artists. These painters, who witnessed the war firsthand, generously share their experiences with viewers. On the canvases are their pain, suffering, and dreams of victory. 'Victorious 45' is both a tribute to the memory of our heroic ancestors and an opportunity for the younger generation to learn about their great-grandfathers' deeds through the prism of art. Each painting will become a source of inspiration and pride in our history. The foundation of the exhibition is the collection of D. S. Erokhov, which includes paintings and graphic works by artists V. V. Bogatkin, V. K. Dmitrievsky, B. S. Zharkov, P. Ya. Kirpichnikov, P. T. Maltsev, M. V. Motorin, and others.
