Permanent exhibition 'Victory in the Hearts of Generations' opened at the Sayansk City Museum on June 20, 2022. The exhibition is dedicated to the Victory and the events of the Great Patriotic War and was created as part of a joint project of the museum and the Sayansk Charitable Foundation with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. The exhibition space logically connects historical events from 1941 to 1945: the preconditions for the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War, the defensive and offensive phases, the decisive turning point, and Victory. Display cases contain archival frontline photographs, personal documents of combatants, their military awards, captured items, and authentic wartime artifacts (ampulomet — ampoule injector, medical instruments, shell casings, books, etc.). Visitors' attention is drawn to exhibition dioramas, where narrative compositions with figures embodying the images of those who defended the Motherland in the country's most difficult time can be seen. The exhibition includes themed photo zones for visitors: 'Commander's Dugout' and 'Frontline Motorcycle'. Entering the exhibition space, one can not only touch history but also fully experience the landmark events of the Great Patriotic War and feel pride in the country's heroic past and its defenders.
