The People's Folklore and Ethnographic Museum invites you to the renovated hall dedicated to the history of the martial exploits of local heroes who took up the defense of the Motherland at different times — in the distant past, on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and in conflicts of the new era. The exhibition is not only a place of remembrance but also an opportunity to connect with the country's history, preserve the memory of the heroic past and feel pride for the Motherland. The exhibits on display will reveal wartime events to visitors and tell the stories of the people, their feats and heroism. The hall is divided into four sections: 'The Red Army Is the Strongest of All' — about heroes of the First World War; 'A Great and Eternal Feat' — about heroes who participated in the Great Patriotic War; 'They Carried Out the Motherland's Order' — about the history of local conflicts: Afghanistan, Chechnya; 'Heroes of Our Time' — about participants in the special military operation. In each section visitors will encounter authentic exhibits, photographs, uniforms, documents and personal belongings of fallen soldiers. Visits for organized groups are by prior appointment.
