Exhibition "A Window into Nature"
About exhibition
The exhibition is dedicated to the ancient and modern flora and fauna of the Tyumen region. Visitors will learn about the animals that inhabited the area during the Ice Age and discover interesting facts about the tallest woolly mammoth skeleton found in the region. Visitors will also learn about the discovery history and structure of the skeletons of the prehistoric bison, cave bear, and woolly rhinoceros, explore the world of underwater flora and fauna, see the jaw of a prehistoric shark and fossil imprints of plants that grew millions of years ago. In addition, guests will view a collection of butterflies and learn about modern animals living in the Tyumen region, including species listed in the Red Data Book.
