What could be seen in city windows more than a century ago? Windowsills crowded with flowers, and behind the glass a stern master or a young lady, a curious old woman or the cheerful faces of children… The windows of Minusinsk hide the family stories of the inhabitants of this county town. Want to know what they looked like, how they dressed? What they did, what their everyday life was like, and what mark they left on Minusinsk’s history? The banner exhibition, clad in authentic wooden window trims, is based on old photographs from the collections of the N. M. Martyanov Museum and introduces visitors to the stories of urban families from the late 19th to the early 20th centuries.
