About exhibition

Staff of the MVC, as part of the project "Borovsk. 20th Century. Nostalgia", have created three permanent exhibitions: "Borovsk in Photographs of the Early 20th Century", the exhibition of Soviet audio-video equipment "Made in the USSR", and the "Communal Apartment" featuring elements of Soviet everyday life from the 1950s–1980s. Like a time machine, our museum will transport you to the recent past and revive the brightest and warmest memories of your childhood or youth. Children and school pupils will certainly find it interesting to learn how photographs were made in the past, who wore the Pioneer tie and why, and many other fascinating things. Without politics, without labels or stereotypes, through everyday objects that have now become artifacts, we will together set in motion the mechanism of happy memories.
