About exhibition

Welcome to the museum! You will be presented with exhibits reflecting the traditional everyday and festive dress of Chechen men and women. Among them you will be able to see works created from sketches by ethnographic scholars, Chechen national clothing, outfit accessories, weapons and other paraphernalia of the 18th–19th centuries, made based on artifacts found during excavations on the territory of the Chechen Republic. You will be introduced to the history of the ensemble and its most notable chapters; a special pavilion displays an archive of photographs and the ensemble's numerous awards.
