Exhibition 'No Name — Only a Soldier's Rank!'
About exhibition
The exhibition tells the story of the creation of the 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,' the country's main military memorial symbolizing the memory of all participants in the Great Patriotic War. Among the exhibits are artifacts from the bloodiest war in human history: fragments of military equipment, a death medallion (dog tag), military decorations, and personal belongings of soldiers discovered by members of a local historical-search club in the region. Photographs, documents, and museum objects from the museum's collections recount how, in peacetime, the names of defenders of the homeland who died fighting for the Belgorod region were identified through search efforts.
