Exhibition "The Real Miracle — Art"
About exhibition
Monuments, regardless of when they were created (despite stylistic differences), shape the artistic environment. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to see sculptures in miniature by sculptor-artists Sergey Mikhailovich Isakov and Sergey Sergeevich Isakov. This dynamic connection of times and space became the main principle of the exhibition "The Real Miracle — Art", the central aspect of which is the chance to see in one place (in the hall), in sculptural models and in graphic works from the artists' collections, the most vivid examples of monumental sculpture. For these works the authors were awarded the Gold Medal of the Academy of Arts. The sculptures are installed in Novocherkassk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Moscow and other cities. In Rostov-on-Don, 24,000 people affected by Chernobyl come on the Day of the Chernobyl tragedy to the monument created by Isakov. Talent is also evident in painting: the works are in the collections of Vladimir Putin, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II, Metropolitan Kirill, Metropolitan Isidor, and in museums in Belgium, Italy, Greece and Uzbekistan. S.S. Isakov is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and is a postgraduate student at the ASA of Don State Technical University, specializing in "Architectural restoration and reconstruction and history of architecture." His sculptures adorn five cities in Russia.
