Exhibition “The Heritage of the Republic of Adygea in Museum Collections”
About exhibition
The exhibition project is on display as part of the celebrations of the museum’s 100th anniversary and the Day of the Republic of Adygea. The exhibition features items from the collections of the National Museum of the Republic of Adygea and the region’s municipal museums. Visitors will be able to view unique artifacts that reveal the full diversity of Adygea’s cultural and historical development. Guests will have a unique opportunity to see the collections of all municipal museums in a single exhibition space. In total, the exhibition presents over 600 exhibits, including the traditional Adyghe stringed instrument shichepshin, rattles, a sixteen‑key accordion, Adyghe gold‑embroidered pieces from the early 20th century, a saddle ensemble from the late 19th century, podchasniki, embroidered towels (rushnyky), Adyghe men’s and women’s festive costumes, burkas, and a Cossack clothing ensemble.
