The forest edge is a special, captivating world of nature. Many mammals and birds are found in these areas. The exhibition features inhabitants of mixed forests that populate the Yalutorovsk district: the lynx, chipmunk, goshawk and others. Next to the forest-edge inhabitants you will see a little house around which the sparrow, rook, magpie and white wagtail have made their homes. They all belong to the large order of passerines (Passeriformes). These are predominantly small- and medium-sized birds that differ in appearance, lifestyle, habitat and methods of obtaining food.
