Ancient humans, like modern ones, periodically felt the need to record their emotions or thoughts. Today it's simple — we take a notebook and a pen, or open a computer and type the required text. Many centuries ago people used a sharp stone to peck a drawing or symbol into a cave wall. But what did people write on and with in old Rus'? The museum exhibition presents the evolution of writing materials: birch bark, wax tablets, ink and more. Visitors will be able to try writing with a stylus and ink.
