Exhibition "We Walked Toward Love and Mercy"
About exhibition
Reconstruction exhibition — a chronological account of the heroic efforts to save human lives during the Great Patriotic War: carrying the wounded from the battlefield to the medical battalion where first aid was given, and the subsequent transfer to rear hospitals in the Arkhangelsk region for treatment and return to service. The exhibits showcase the people through whom hundreds of thousands of soldiers, officers, and Soviet and foreign sailors were saved. Arkhangelsk, which during the war became the hospital base of the Karelian Front, rightfully bears the title "City of Military Glory".
